Why precut, why aluminium.

Drop and seal — no in-machine cutter

Foils ship precut to size for each container. Place the disc, pull the handle, the cup is sealed. No cutter blade to maintain, no offcut waste, no jammed-cutter downtime in the middle of a lunch rush.

Airtight, leak-proof, freezer-safe

Aluminium is a barrier against moisture, oxygen, and light — the contents stay fresh on the shelf and stable in transit. Holds its seal from the freezer through the delivery bag.

Fast, low-temperature seal

Aluminium's heat conduction lets the seal form in 1 – 5 seconds at a lower head temperature than plastic film — less energy per cup, longer heater life.

Print-ready surface

The branding pops off aluminium with the right offset print — tweak the design per size, get a clean tear-open peel on top of every cup. Printed runs from 30,000 pieces per design.

Pinhole venting for hot beverages

For drinks sealed above 85 °C we add a 0.9 – 1 mm pinhole vent — the lid stays leak-proof in transit, but built-up steam has somewhere to escape. Specify on the order if you need it.

/ faq

FAQ.

What is the MOQ for printed foils?

30,000 pieces per design. Plain stocked foils are available in single-case quantities — order on the Aeros app and we ship from the closest metro warehouse.

What is the difference between tear-drop and circular?

Tear-drop has a peel tab — best for customer-facing cups where the end consumer opens the lid. Circular is a clean disc — best on production lines and under press-fit dome or snap lids.

Which size fits my cup?

Match the lid diameter to a few mm above your cup's rim diameter. For our 92 mm and 98 mm U-shape PET cups, the 95.5 mm tear-drop or 99.4 mm circular foil is the right call.

Can I get a custom size?

Yes, provided the order volume justifies a new cutting die — talk to us with your container drawing and target volume and we will scope it.

Do they work for hot beverages?

Yes, with a 0.9 – 1 mm pinhole vent. Above ~85 °C the steam needs somewhere to escape or the seal pops — specify "hot fill" on your order and we add the vent.

What machines do these run on?

The AeroSeal Cup Sealer (cups 2 oz – 20 oz) and AeroSeal Tub Sealer (8 oz – 1 L). The foil format works the same way on both — drop the disc, seal, done.

Are food-safety declarations available?

Yes — written declarations of food-contact compliance are available on request for plain and printed foils.

How are they shipped?

Plain stocked foils ship from the nearest metro warehouse. Printed runs ship 3 – 4 weeks after artwork approval. For high-volume orders we offer LCL and 20 ft FCL freight.
